Two suspects have been arrested in South Africa for Murdering of the former Magistrate Piet Christiaan Bester,aged 63 at his residence in the Glen district of South Africa on yesterday around 9:00 am.


The body of Mr. Bester was discovered by a worker at his residence in the Glen district, lying in a pool of blood with multiple wounds.


The Free State police have confirmed the incident and arrest of these two suspects.
South African Police Services (SAPS) states that; “The arrests were made possible through the close cooperation and swift action of the local farming community and police,” said SAPS in a statement.


SAPS expressed gratitude to the farming community for their invaluable support, which led to the arrest of two suspects.


“Thanks to the invaluable support of the farming community, resulting in the apprehension of two suspects. This breakthrough demonstrates the strength of community-police collaboration in addressing crime,” said the SAPS in a statement.
Police investigations are ongoing, and the suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
