Vhembe Stars Academy is set to lock horns with West Nicholson on Matchday 14 of the Central Region Soccer League Division One on Wednesday, 24 June 2026.
Following a 2-2 draw in the intense Beitbridge derby against Dulibadzimu United on Matchday 13, where they failed to secure maximum points, the Greens will look to restore their winning momentum against West Nicholson in the mid week fixture at home.
Vhembe Stars Academy currently sits 14th with 11 points, level with FC Platinum U19 and ZRP Gwanda.
West Nicholson is 4th with 26 points from 13 matches.
Compared to last season, West Nicholson have improved significantly. This time last year they were 12th with 13 points after 13 matches. This season they have doubled their points tally, with 26 points from the same number of games.
Debutants Vhembe Stars Academy face a strong West Nicholson side that has a better scoring record this season. West Nicholson have lost only 3 matches so far, while Vhembe have lost 6.
Elsewhere, Dulibadzimu United travel to face Grain Tigers on Matchday 14.
Last season, Dulibadzimu United beat Grain Tigers 2-0 thanks to a brace from Tinotenda Matsika.
Log leaders and in-form Chapungu will face struggling Shurugwi United on Matchday 14, while second-placed Blanket Mine take on ZRP Gwanda in the Gwanda derby.
Gwanda Pirates FC host MSU FC at Phelandaba Stadium, while Superstrikers FC lock horns with debutants Good Morning FC.
