The Zimbabwe Warriors have been drawn into group A of the COSAFA Cup alongside South Africa as the two neighbours continue their contests which has spanned across three competitions in 2025 including the World Cup Qualifiers, the AFCON finals set for Morocco and now the COSAFA CUP.
In the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Bafana Bafana has been outstanding, following their 3-1 victory over the Warriors which left them leading the FIFA qualifiers group.
The two teams will battle in the COSAFA Cup and World Cup qualifiers before their continental clash in Morocco later this year.
Their COSAFA fixture will be very important for both teams as they look to build up and broaden their selection for the continental showpiece set for December of 2025 in Morocco.
