Harare – The Zimbabwe Agriculture Media Awards (ZAMA) have been rescheduled from July 4 to August 28, 2025 in a move that is meant to align the awards  with the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, which takes place from August 25 to 30.

The awards will now be held on the 30th of August to, the last day of the show.

Organizers say the change aims to enhance collaboration between the media and agricultural sectors. By coinciding with the agricultural show, ZAMA aims  to foster  closer ties between the two industries.

The deadline for submitting entries has been extended to July 31, 2025. ZAMA, launched in 2019, recognizes excellence in agricultural journalism and provides training for media practitioners.

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Show showcases the country’s agricultural advancements and innovations, making it a fitting platform for the awards.It is the marquee agricultural event in the country bringing together all sectors of the economy who are linked to agriculture in one way or the other.
