ZIMBABWE’s Warriors won the inaugural 2026 Mukuru 4 Nations Tournament in Botswana, defeating Zambia 1-0 in the final on March 31, 2026 in Francistown, Botswana.

A late 89th-minute own goal by Zambia secured the victory in Francistown following a tightly contested match, with Zimbabwe finishing with two clean sheets.

The final score was Zimbabwe 1 – 0 Zambia through an 89th-minute own goal by a Zambian defender off a cross by substitute Junior Zindoga sealed the win.

Zimbabwe reached the final after a 3-0 semifinal win over Botswana, while Zambia defeated Malawi on penalties.

The Warriors were crowned champions, lifting the trophy to close out the tournament which was played between 28–31 March 2026.

The tournament highlighted the competitiveness of Southern African football, with Zimbabwe showcasing a strong defense throughout the competition.
