The Southern Africa duo, Zimbabwe and Namibia are set to host the 16th edition of the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup 2026, scheduled from January 15 running until February 6.
The edition consists of 16 teams, which will be divided into four groups, with three teams from each group advancing to the Super Six stage.
Meanwhile, the fourth-placed teams will move to a placement match, with the fourth teams in Group A and D facing each other, while the fourth-placed teams in Group B and C take each other on.
The tournament is will be played across five venues in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
The Namibia Cricket Ground and High Performance Oval in Windhoek will be the two Namibian venues.
Zimbabwe will use two cities, Bulawayo and Harare, with Bulawayo’s Queens Sports Club and the Zimbabwean capital’s Harare Sports Club and Takashinga Sports Club being the last two venues.
The 2024 champions and reigning champions, Australia, have four titles, while India have five titles making them the most successful nation in this tournament.
Australia won their fourth title against India in the 2024 edition, and all will be coming to the 2026 edition to battle for global supremacy in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
