The battle for continental supremacy in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations is set to kick off this week, running from the 5th of July to the 26th of the same month in Morocco
The tournament is set to run under the theme “Born winners” which celebrates the fearless, powerful and purpose driven women who are shaping the future.
The Atlas Lioness will battle Zambia, Senegal and DR Congo in group A,while Nigeria will face Tunisia, Algeria and Botswana in group B.
The defending champions South Africa will lock horns with Ghana, Mali and Tanzania in group C.
In 24 days, one of the 12 captains will lift the Women ‘s Africa Cup of Nations trophy in Morocco.
