The journey to continental glory in the CAF U17 Africa Cup of Nations comes to an end today as Morocco battle with Mali in the final at 1500hours.

Following their successful 4-3 victory against Ivory Coast in penalty shootout, Morocco booked their final spot for the second time in a row. Meanwhile , Mali dismissed Burkina Faso 2-0 to book a final spot. One of the successful team in this competition, 2015 and 2017 champions Mali looks forward to restore it’s continental glory and become the most successful nation to win the title three times.

Backed the home crowd, the 2023 runner ups, The Young Atlas Lions are looking forward to redeem themselves and secure their first title in this competition on home soil.

Elsewhere Ivory Coast secured a bronze medial after defeating Burkina Faso 4-1 in a penalty shootout after a 1all draw in regulation time yesterday. Ivory Coast ‘s Christ Kouassi took matters into his own hands in the penalty shootout after the sensation Alynho Haïdara equalized for Côte d’Ivoire, making it 1-1 and sending the match to penalties, which they won to claim bronze.
