THE Beitbridge Rural District Council (BBRDC) has officially notified the public of adjusted operational hours and scheduled office closures for the 2025 festive season.
In a public notice issued on Christmas Eve by Chief Executive Officer Kiliboni Mbedzi, the council outlined a two-phase holiday shutdown to allow staff to observe Christmas and New Year festivities.
Christmas and Boxing Day Schedule,
The council offices will begin their holiday break starting today.
According to the directive:
- Closing: Wednesday, 24th December 2025, at 1300 hours.
- Reopening: Monday, 29th December 2025, at 0730 hours.
New Year Celebrations
Operational hours will also be affected as the year draws to a close:
- Closing: Wednesday, 31st December 2025, at 1300 hours.
- Reopening: Friday, 2nd January 2026, at 0730 hours.
In the notice, CEO Mbedzi extended warm holiday wishes to the community, stating, “We would like to wish you a Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.”
