THE annual Beitbridge Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Fund Dinner will be held this Friday, December 19, with this year’s edition dedicated to raising funds for disabled children.

The fundraising dinner will take place at 1800 hours at the Kingdom Light Church Hall.

Residents, couples, and corporate groups are invited to enjoy an elegant evening while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Speaking to Ziyah News Network, Municipality of Beitbridge Public Relations Officer Raniel Ndou said the initiative is a long-standing tradition focused on uplifting vulnerable members of the community.

“The Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Fund is an annual initiative aimed at supporting the underprivileged in our community, particularly during this festive season. This year’s funds will be channelled towards disabled children so that they get to enjoy Christmas like others. We encourage our community members to come in numbers and support the noble cause,” said Ndou.

Tickets are going for, US$20 for individuals and US$30 for couples, with VIP and group table options also available, making it accessible for everyone willing to support the initiative.

The Mayor’s Christmas Cheer Fund Dinner Night promises not only a memorable evening but also an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of disabled children within Beitbridge.
