Former Premier Soccer League side Chegutu Pirates has appointed Moses Chunga as their head coach ahead of the 2025 season.
Following their relegation during the 2024 season, Chegutu Pirates has given Chunga the york to lead the team in the Northern Region Division One League and grab promotion ticket, to return to the top flight league.
Sugar Malaga as Chegutu Pirates are affectionately took to their social to confirm the appointment of the Warriors legend Chunga as their head coach.
“Chegutu Pirates is thrilled to announce the appointment of Moses Chunga as the team’s head coach for the 2025 season .the club warmly welcomes Chunga and is confident that his leadership will drive the team to new heights …,”Chegutu Pirates stated.
Chunga has managed several clubs such Dynamos in 2002 before he was appointed head coach of Shabane Mine .In 2009 Chunga Won his first league championship as a coach with Gunners after winning the Premier Soccer League.
The Nomadic Chunga is well known for his abilities to nurture young talent and Chegutu Pirates fans will be hoping he can wave his magic wand to develop youngsters in the community who will lead the charge for a quick return to the top flight.
