Commander Duduzile Zuma Sambudla has issued a public apology to the Umkhonto Wesizwe party following her post on X insulting party’s secretary general Floyd Shivambu.
Duduzile Zuma ‘s apology comes after she made derogatory statement on X against the MK ‘s secretary general Floyd Shivambu.
“Floyd I’m not scared of you, tell yourself minions to fuck off… bloody Mafikizolo,”Duduzile Zuma stated.
The MK party did not take lightly Duduzile’s rant ordering her to apologise or face consequences. It is said even his father and the face of MK party Jacob Zuma was not chaffed by his daughter’s uncomradely comments.
In a statement, Commander Duduzile Zuma highlighted that her actions and perception of how issues are being handled on within the organization should have followed proper internal channel rather taking it publicly without proper communication within the organization.
“As a committed and disciplined member of Umkhonto Wesizwe Party, I hereby extend this unconditional public apology to President Zuma and Umkhonto Wesizwe Party leadership for the profanity used in my recent posts on X… While I hold strong and personal views including serious concerns about internal party matters, my perception of how certain issues are handled within the organization, especially by the Party ‘s Secretary General. I fully recognise that such concerns should have been and shall be addressed through the proper channels, as dictated by the core values of the glorious movement of people. I acknowledge that expressing these grievance publicly was unfortunate and may have undermined the unity, discipline and respect that defines the MK party,” Hon Duduzile Zuma ‘s statement reads.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources, Gwede Mantatshe waded into the MK shenanigans urging the EFF to fetch Floyd Shivambu following the harsh words revealed by Duduzile Zuma.
