Dulibadzimu United showcased their current impressive form with a narrow 1-0 victory against Blanket Mine over the weekend in match day 16 of the Central Region Soccer League Division One.
Following their 2-1 victory against Gokwe North away from home, Dulivhadzimu ‘s impressive run continues as they secured a 1-0 victory against Blanket mine at Dulibadzimu Stadium.
Messi Gushero broke the dead lock in the 33rd minute of the game after a brilliant set up from Benedict Sithole to secure the three points.
The win propels Duliz unto their place on the log.
Fellow Beitbridge side, Bishopstone’s struggles continued after they were beaten 2-0 by debutants Gwanda Pirates at Mutshato Stadium.
In their last match, The Orange boys were held to a 1-1 all draw by Grain Tigers before being snapped by Gwanda Pirates .
The fans expected a spirited display against debutants Gwanda Pirates but they did not deliver. Bishopstone were wasteful and could not find a way past the debutant’s goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, former Premier Soccer league side Sheasham, continues to stretch the gap as they beat Dimson Mvuma 2-1 to be 6 points clear on top for the Central Region Soccer League Division One table and clearly the team to beat for any aspirant of the championship.
