THE battle for maximum points in the Central Region Soccer League Division One continues as Vhembe Stars Academy lock horns with Blanket Mine and Dulibadzimu United face Matobo FC.
Dulibadzimu United host Matobo FC at Dulibadzimu Stadium on Saturday, 13 June 2026, at 15:00 hours.
Following a heavy 4-0 defeat to Kwekwe United in their previous match at Baghdad Stadium, Dulibadzimu United will look to redeem themselves in front of their loyal fans.
Dulibadzimu United are currently 15th on the log with 9 points after 11 games, marking one of the worst starts to a season for the Beitbridge outfit.
Compared to last season, Dulibadzimu were in 5th position at Match Day 11 with 21 points, from 6 wins, 3 draws, and 3 defeats. Statistically, they were a far better side in 2025 than in 2026.
Meanwhile, Central Region Soccer League Division One debutants Vhembe Stars Academy will lock horns with fellow Matabeleland South side Blanket Mine on Sunday.
Following a 3-1 loss to Super Strikers at Dulibadzimu Stadium, the Greens will look to redeem themselves in front of the Beitbridge crowd.
Blanket Mine are currently one of the inform teams in the league with 22 points after 10 games. They will pose a serious challenge to the Vhembe Stars Academy side as Blanket Mine are solid in both defense and attack.
Backed by their home supporters, the Beitbridge duo will look to capitalise and collect maximum points to climb the table and move away from the relegation zone.
