Dulibadzimu United bossed the Beitbridge derby, securing a 1-0 victory against rivals Bishopstone in match day 5 of the Central Region Soccer League played at Dulibadzimu this afternoon.
Following identical wins against Chapungu, Grain Tigers, the 1-0 win against MSU students of MSU, Dulis continued their winning streak with another 1-0 victory over rivals Bishopstone in the Beitbridge derby, recording their fourth consecutive victory without conceding.
The two sides went Into the halftime break with nothing separating them, but with the Dulis having been the better team after the first 45 minutes.
Beitbridge- born Patrick Kelly Muleyabroke the dead lock in the 63rd minute of the game, securing three points and a third consecutive derby victory for Dulibadzimu United.
A 1-0 victory against Bishopstone, saw Dulibadzimu United move to 12 points, while Bishopstone FC remain with 3 points after 5 games.
Historically, Dulibadzimu FC has been dominant over Bishopstone FC, particularly on their home ground. This trend continued this afternoon as Dulibadzimu showcased their dominance once again in the Beitbridge derby , much to the delight of their loyal fans at Dulibadzimu Stadium.
