Dulibadzimu United has secured the signature of Rutherford Matondo as their new head coach ahead of the 2025 season.

Speaking to Ziyah Media, Dulis vice chairman Christian Magwali, confirmed the arrival of the new head coach.

“It’s quite a good moment for Beitbridge, We are delighted to have an experienced coach in our team,” Vice Chairman Magwali stated.

Upon his arrival Matondo highlighted that being one of the contenders in the Central Region Soccer league title is one his main goal.

“I have managed so many teams likes of TelOne, ZPC Kariba and Destiny in the Eastern Region Soccer league. It’s quite an honor to join Dulivhadzimu United because the areas is over zealous with supporters, and  i impressed. My target is take Beitbridge to higher, and the main objective is content for the title and I’m preparing to have a stronger Dulis arm ahead of the season,” Coach Matondo stated.

Last year Dulivhadzimu United struggled especially during the second half of the season which saw them losing key matches during crucial times with Never Malunga as their coach .

Matondo is likely to face huge pressure as Beitbridge fans will be expecting  changes and better results, mainly as  they  expect him to restore the Beitbridge pride of having a team in the Premier Soccer League.

The former ZPC Munyai and TelOne, coach Matondo will take over the reigns  Dulivhadzimu United and Never Malunga will be the assistant coach as they march into the new season.
