Dynamos Football Club has appointed Lloyd Chigowe as the permanent head coach, ahead of the highly anticipated 2025 season.
Chigove had been the Dembare interim coach after taking over the reigns from the dismissed Genesis ‘Kaka’ Mangombe.
Dembare took their social media to announce the appointment of Mablanyo as the permanent head coach for the club.
“Dynamos FC is pleased to announce that Lloyd Chigowe has been appointed as the substantive Head Coach ahead of the 2025 season…,”Dynamos FC stated.
Following his appointment as the interim coach in August 2024, Chigowe managed to defend the Chibuku Super Cup title when beating Ngezi Platinum in Rufaro stadium last year .
The 60 year coach has managed to get a 50 %win ratio after being in charge for 20 games, winning 10, drawing 5 and losing 5 in all competitions.
The Glamour Boys’ executive and fans, will be having high expectations for coach Chigowe in the upcoming season. They will be hoping that he will successfully defend the Chibuku Super Cup title, make a strong challenge for the Premier Soccer League 2025 championship, and bounce back in the CAF Confederation cup later in August.
Dynamos also stated that Chigowe is nearing completing the assembling of his backroom staff and the official announcements will follow once all formalities has been finalised.
