Dulibadzimu United has unveiled its new kit for the 2025 Central Region Soccer League in a colorful event marked by pomp and fanfare, befitting such an exciting development for the community run club.
Under the sponsorship of new kit sponsors Utande, the kit unveiling ceremony drew attention from across the border town, bringing together prominent figures from Beitbridge, all united by their beloved team.
With three kits showcased for the season, a sense of renewed hope for the team permeated the gathering, as fans anxiously awaited the possibility of Dulibadzimu United bringing back Premiership football to Beitbridge.
As fans celebrated the new partnership with song, guest of honor and businessman Terry Mulowa reminded stakeholders of the community team of the need for unity as the cornerstone of the team’s success.
“Beitbridge has a problem with disunity,” said Mulowa adding that “the progress of Dulibadzimu United requires a united front, as it will bring business to Beitbridge, so it’s essential to support our team together.”
He urged the Beitbridge Municipality to waive their levy on gate takings as a way of supporting the team, which is still in its infancy. The guest of honor also reminded the Municipality of the need to renovate Dulibadzimu Stadium, which is not in good condition.
The businessman pledged USD200 and offered his game park, Kwa Terry, as a camping site for the team.
Utande Matebeleland South Regional Manager Odiel Nkomo stated that the partnership with Dulibadzimu is part of the brand’s thrust of investing in communities it serves.
“As a company at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge ICT and technology solutions, we believe in investing in the communities we serve,” Nkomo said. “Sponsoring Dulibadzimu FC is more than just providing jerseys; it’s about empowering the next generation, creating a sense of pride, and building a stronger future for Beitbridge.”
Dulibadzimu Chairman Cristian Magwali expressed gratitude for the support, saying, “We are thankful to Utande for the support and promise to use this kit to the best of our ability, representing Utande and our community with dedication and hard work.”
The kit unveiling ceremony was attended by many enthusiastic fans, showcasing their undying love for Dulibadzimu United and elevating hopes with the display of unity and purpose among stakeholders.
