THE Feli Nandi Show is set to take place this Saturday, October 17, at Ndlovukazi Recreational Centre, popularly known as PaGomo, with a lineup featuring several Beitbridge-based entertainers.

The show will feature local musicians and entertainers, including Mark Geezo, The Edutainer, MC Little, DJ Fleeker, DJ TNT and other surprise acts, alongside headliner Feli Nandi.

The inclusion of several local acts comes amid concerns from some entertainers over the limited representation of Beitbridge talent at major shows, with some arguing that local performers are often overlooked in favour of artists from outside the town.

Beitbridge has a pool of emerging talent, including musician Regis Mandangu, popularly known as Mark Geezo, who has been building his profile through music releases and social media promotion.

His growing popularity has been boosted by collaborations with Harare-based content creator Ritz McLeish, who has promoted his music through social media platforms, with TikTok challenges for his songs reportedly attracting approximately 200,000 views on multiple occasions.

Mark Geezo’s catalogue includes love songs such as Magunvosta, Zi Calendar, Changu Chimoko and Hemeni.

The lineup also features DJs who are familiar faces in Beitbridge’s entertainment scene.

DJ Fleeker, the resident DJ at Lava Lounge, and DJ TNT, the resident DJ at Konka Pub, are expected to provide music throughout the event.

Meanwhile, The Edutainer and MC Little will be responsible for keeping the audience entertained and engaged during the performances.

Speaking ahead of the show, Mark Geezo said he was ready for the big platform.

“Good music, good vibes, as always we deliver the best to our fans.

“Beitbridge, turn out in large numbers as we tear down the stage alongside my sister Feli Nandi.”

MC Little also called on residents to attend the event.

“Let’s make this one interesting as I will be with you on stage.”

” As your best hype man, I believe we will create unforgettable memories as Feli Nandi takes Beitbridge for the very first time.”

Speaking to Ziyah News Network, event organiser Pauline Ndlovukazi said preparations for the show had been completed.

“The weekend is almost here.”

” Beitbridge should come out in numbers for a great experience as preparations are already done,” she said.

“As the weekend approaches, everyone should brace up for a great night at Ndlovukazi Recreational Centre.”

The lineup will also feature Harare-based reggae artist Ras Caleb, whose music blends soft melodies with reggae sounds.

Among his popular songs is Tokwe Mukosi, which was dedicated to the Tokwe Mukosi floods of February 2014.

The event will also feature Thelma Hearts, who is expected to bring reggae and jazz sounds to the stage.

With Feli Nandi headlining the show and local entertainers forming a significant part of the lineup, the event is expected to provide a platform for Beitbridge talent while offering music fans a night of live performances.
