Gwanda Pirates has secured the signature of Johanes Ngodzo as their new head coach ahead of the 2025 season.
Gwanda Pirates took their social media to confirm the arrival of their new coach ahead their debut season in the division 1
“Gwanda Pirates is excited to welcome Ngodzo on board, bringing his wealth of experience and expertise to the team. As the club embarks on the 2025 season. Ngodzo ‘s appointment is expected to inject new energy and momentum into the team,” Gwanda Pirates stated.
The debutants have put their hopes on Ngodzo ‘s expertise and they surely believe in him to be the rightful candidate to deliver good results.
“Ngodzo ‘s coaching career is impressive with notable appointments at Bantu Rovers,and Bulawayo City U20… he also had a stint as the head coach of D1 outfit Addachi FC before the team ‘s dissolution,” Gwanda Pirates stated.
Ngodzo is the Former Highlanders FC and Warriors player. He is famously known for his pivotal role helping Zimbabwe to qualify for the AFCON 2002. His playing career was cut short after a horrible knee playing forr the Warriors.
