Zimbabwe’s women nation team, Mighty Warriors is set to battle against Angola for their WAFCON 2026 qualifiers today.
The much anticipated match will kick off around 1700hours at Estadio de 22 Junho in Angola.
These two teams last faced each other at the 2019 COSAFA Women’s Championship, where the Mighty Warriors emerged victorious with a convincing 4-1 win.
This previous triumph will undoubtedly serve as a confidence booster for the Zimbabwean side as they prepare to take on their Angolan counterparts once again.
Backed by the home crowd Angola will be looking forward to redeem themselves in the eyes of their fans, by atleast securing maximum points in this match.
Fans and ZIFA have been rallying behind the Mighty Warriors since the beginning of their preparations for this encounter.

The Mighty Warriors of Zimbabwe will be looking to draw inspiration from the Men ‘s team success when they face Angola in their upcoming encounter and show that they are also capable of raising the flag even higher.
