The 2024 CAF Awards are on today and the ceremony will celebrate the best of African football featuring best players, and coaches with special guest and renowned football anchor Kate Scott set to present the awards alongside Jalai Bouzrara in Morocco.
Bouzrara is a former member of the AIPS executive committee and vice president of the Moroccan Sports Press Association.
The glittering ceremony is designed to celebrate African football excellence, recognise individuals and teams in both national and club competitions in different categories for both men and women.
More than 10 categories are up for grabs including African men’s player of the year and the female version of the same award.
African stars such as Barbra Banda, Ademola Lookman, Achraf Hakimi, and Ronwen Williams are amongst the nominees of the CAF awards from different categories.
Additionally the 2024 national team of the year will be presented today, with Cote di’vore being the main contender alongside DR Congo, Nigeria, Sudan and South Africa.
All is set for the ceremony that will celebrate the best that Africa has to offer in football in football terms.
