South African actress and media personality Khanyi Mbau has revealed that she and her Zimbabwean boyfriend Kudzai Mushonga have parted ways.
According to Mbau, the couple, who had been together for five years, ended their relationship due to Kudzai’s actions, which she described as “bad things.”
In a post on her Instagram page, Mbau shared that despite Kudzai’s attempts to make amends, she was unable to move past the incidents.
“He was a good guy, but he did some bad things. He tried everything he could to make it up to me. I did most of my grieving while we were together. I finally got the courage to leave. And of course, I wish him the best,” she wrote.
This is not the first time the couple has faced rumors of a breakup. Their relationship was put under scrutiny when Kudzai failed to appear in the latest season of their reality show “Young, Famous & African,” while Mbau made only a brief appearance in one episode.
Mbau and Kudzai have been a high-profile couple for several years, often sharing romantic moments on social media and flaunting their wealth to their fans. It remains to be seen how their breakup will play out publicly.
