Zimdancehall legend Winky D continues to defy critics and a partial radio blackout that has been in force since the musician started churning out songs pregnant with social meaning that has not gone down well with authorities.
Smarting from the failure to hold his traditional end of year shutdown where he usually releases new using, Winky D has surprised his fans with the release of an EP titled Pabho, already making waves dominating the social media discourse with the six tracks all resonating with the average Zimbabwe.
The release of Pabho , coincides with the Musician’s 42nd birthday , and Pabho has cemented Wallace Chirumiko’s as a legend on the Zimbabwean musical scene.Days a couple of days after release, the country is already buzzing and singing along to the tunes released on February 1 2025.
The Ep has 6 tracks including Life Patonaz(intro),Pabho ft Bling 4, Fake love, Kudhakwa, Zvatanga and Siya. The EP has managed to top charts and it reached 1 million views in less than 24 hours.
The EP comes after Winky D trended following his performance in Mbare at the Swan launch where he appetised the crowd with a starter sample of the now released tracks.
Winky D has taken to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude to his fans for their overwhelming support on his latest Ep ‘Pabho.’
“I am deeply grateful to all of you who celebrated my Earth Day through supporting my release Pabho EP. Your vibrant support made this milestone truly special and reinforced the strength of our Gafa community.”
Winky D also emphasized the importance of his fans in his creative journey stating that their presence means the world to him.

He also hinted at upcoming projects saying “As I continue to explore new sounds and overcome hurdles, I am excited to have you by my side. Thank you for being an integral part of this mission-let’s keep pushing boundaries,”said Winky D.
