The Premier Soccer League has announced that league champions Simba Bhora will battle against Chibuku Super Cup champions Dynamos in the Castle Challenge Cup on February 22,2025 at Rufaro stadium.
In a statement, the Premier Soccer league highlighted that the upcoming thrilling contest between the two giants will mark the beginning of the 2025 season and it is expected to set a new tone for the season.
“The Premier Soccer League is pleased to announce that the Castle Challenge Cup will official mark the beginning of the 2025 football calendar. This encounter will see the league champions Simba Bhora FC to take on the Chibuku Super Cup Winners Dynamos in a thrilling contest to set a new tone for the new season…,” the PSL statement reads.
Meanwhile, the PSL also emphasized that it will release the full fixture for the 2025 season in a few days to come.
Dynamos will be expecting to redeem themselves in this encounter following their previous 2-0 defeat by Ngezi Platinum FC in the 2024 edition of the same cup, while Simba Bhora will be looking forward to win their first ever Castle Challenge Cup.
