HARARE – In a exciting development for arts enthusiasts, Zimbabwean comedienne Madam Boss is going to be part of the stars at this year’s BET awards, after she was announced as one of the guests at this year’s ceremony in Los Angeles.
The 2024 BET awards are set to take place on 30 June at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, United States of America.
BET Awards celebrate achievements mostly by people of colour in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and cinema.
The award show represents a nod of approval for Madam Boss, recognising her noteworthy contributions to the local and world entertainment industry.
Canadian rapper Drake received the most nominations as he is nominated seven times, followed by Nicki Minaj with six nominations, J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA, Victoria Monét, and Beyoncé with five each, and 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, and Usher all with four.
