Known for his impactful leadership in the religious sector, Magaya has also demonstrated a keen interest in football, evidenced by his investment in the sport through the construction of a state-of-the-art football stadium for his club, Yadah FC.

Following the conclusion of the Heart Women Knockout Cup, Magaya spoke to journalists about the suggestion to run for the ZIFA presidency.

“A group from the women’s league, who initiated the women’s club, came to me and requested that I put my name forward for the ZIFA presidency competition, “Ultimately, it will be up to my family to agree on my participation.” he stated

Magaya’s dual commitment to faith and football positions him uniquely within Zimbabwean society, as he seeks to bridge his passion for sports with his leadership capabilities.
