Renowned South African artist Makhadzi has offered a generous helping hand to 20 needy university students by paying their registration fees.
Makhadzi took her social media, highlighting that she received than more 5000 applicants in less than 24 hours and only 20 students of the total applicants have been selected.
“I never expected this level of demand. It breaks my heart to see how many students struggle to get a chance at education. I have committed to playing my part in assisting where I can, but I need society to lend a hand so that together, we can reach even more students in need…,” Makhadzi stated.
The Tshikwama hit maker believes in helping the needy and supporting each other to build a brighter future for the youth.
“Let’s continue to support each other and build a brighter future,” Makhadzi wrote.
Makhadzi took her social media to confirm the names of the shortlisted students from different universities’ that she will cover their registration fees.
