A 29 year old Chipinge man Steven Mutonono has been remanded in custody until February 9, 2025 for attempted murder.
The incident occurred at Pakhule Bottle Store in Chibuwe Business Centre, Chipinge, following a dispute with his nephew over ZAR10 change.
Mutonono allegedly stabbed his nephew on the left side of the stomach with a press-button knife, causing a deep cut that exposed his intestines.
Fortunately, the weapon was recovered from Mutonono.
