The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has successfully apprehended and prosecuted a serial rapist, Talent Moyo (27), who terrorized the Makhulela and Dupute communities under the Madlambuzi policing area.
Moyo was convicted and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for his heinous acts of sexual abuse targeting elderly women in the village.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the arrest in a press statement released yesterday.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police stated that Moyo had caused trauma and panic in the Community.
“Moyo had caused trauma and panic in the community through his heinous acts of sexual abuse on the elderly women in the village.”
Meanwhile, the public is free to participate in the ZRP’s Community Policing structures in order to assist in the maintenance of law and order in the country.
