Dulibadzimu United coach Rutherford Matondo has parted ways with the Beitbridge outfit Dulibadzimu United today.
The Beitbridge outfit ‘s coach confirmed his departure from Dulis and will be joining new boys and Central Region rivals Hard Rock FC.
“Good afternoon guys I want to thank technical department, executive,supporters for working together.Secondly I want to inform you that I have obtained a greener pasture and finally joined Hardrock FC.Thanks very much for the time we were together .Thank you for your unwavering support and undiluted love towards me,” said Matondo as he confirmed his departure
Matondo took charge of Dulibadzimu United earlier in January and recorded 9 victories, 3 draws and 4 defeats in the entire first half of the Central Region Soccer League Division One.
Matondo has left Dulis on the 4th position with 30 points, as he has landed a new role at title contenders Hard Rock.
The mid season break is fast proving to be an ominous sign for Duliz. Last year their season crumbled around the same time as key players, the then coach coupled with financial woes took their toll on the team. Fast forward to 2025, the team finds itself with a dejavi as they have lost their coach and are likely going to lose key players.
