Zimbabwe Warriors and Marumo Gallants forward Daniel Msendami scored a crucial goal for Galaxy to claim a 2-1 victory over TS Galaxy, boosting their hopes of survival.

On the 56th minute of the game Msendami doubled Marumo Gallants lead with a stunning goal following Masindi Nemtagela’s early strike that broke the deadlock to give Marumo Gallants the lead. Victor Letsoalo scored a consolation goal for TS Galaxy.

Following their victory against the Rockets, Msendami ‘s Gallants moved on to position twelve, with 25 points, one point ahead of Richards Bay, Cape Town City, three points ahead of SuperSport United.

Elsewhere, Elvis Chipezeze kept his 11th clean sheet of the season after Magesi FC claimed a crucial 1-0 victory against Stellenbosch FC.

Chipezeze leads the chart as the top goal keeper who has kept most clean sheets in the 2024/2025 season in the South African Premier league.

Warriors coach Michael Nees might be better advised to revisit his selection criteria, particularly in the case of Chipezeze and Washington Arubi. Chipezeze is currently the best goalkeeper in South African league .

Nees has a task to watch out for Msendami and Chipezeze who are having game time and playing crucial roles in their team’s victories.
