After an unsuccessful 2 months and half stint as interim coach, Muhshin Ertugral has parted ways with Capetown City.
This development comes after Mushin’s disappointing 14-game run, which saw him secure only three wins, three draws, and a staggering eight losses in South Africa’s premier league.
Capetown City confirmed the departure of the Turkish, highlighting that it came as a mutual agreement.
“After technical discussions, the club and Muhsin Ertugral have agreed mutually to part ways. The decision comes as a collective in the best interest of the club as we look to end the 24/25 season as strong as possible. We thank Muhsin for his professional and earnest contribution, “said the Cape Town based outfit.
City‘s unimpressive performance has undoubtedly put pressure on Muhshin and his departure marks a significant turning point in their quest to regain momentum and survive the dreaded Chop.
Muhshin ‘s fellow first team manager Diogo Peral will lead the team until the end of the season assisted by Lebohang Manyama.
