Tawananyasha Mukunga was the hero for Vhembe Stars Academy as he scored the solitary goal which propelled his side to another victory in their match against Manama in Matabeleland South Division 2 Pool A, match day 7 over the weekend.
The youngster, Mukunga has previously scored against SuperSport and Super Strikers FC, and now against Manama , registering his third goal in three consecutive matches and securing three vital points for Vhembe Stars.
A 1-0 narrow victory against Manama left Vhembe Stars Academy in the top four, moving them to 12 points, level with Manama, who have a superior goal difference.
Elsewhere, Blanket Mine secured a 3-0 victory against Spitzskop, which saw them moving to 13 points.
Super strikers redeemed themselves with a narrow 1-0 victory against Unicem FC.
Mat South Division 2 Pool A, Log leaders Jessie dropped 2 points following a 0-0 draw with Gwanda stars.
