MUTOYIWANA Andres Nguluvhe, the elder brother to Matabeleland South Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Albert Nguluvhe has been declared a Liberation War Hero by the President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The declaration was confirmed in a letter from the Zanu PF Secretary General Jacob Mudenda to the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Martin Rushwaya.

“His Excellency, the President and First Secretary of ZANU (PF) E.D. Mnangagwa has conferred a Liberation War Hero status to the late Cde Nguluvhe Mutoyiwana Andres who died on 17th May 2026. He will be buried in Beitbridge, Chapongwe Village under Chief Matibe. The family can be contacted through our Matabeleland South Provincial Offices,” wrote Mudenda.

“I shall be most grateful if you would make the usual burial arrangements and payment of benefits to his family. The deceased is from Matabeleland South Province.”

The late Nguluvhe who was the second born in the family where Minister Nguluvhe who is also the Member of Parliament for Beitbridge East.

“He will be buried in our home village on Saturday,” said Nguluvhe.
