Prominent Zimbabwean entrepreneur Nigel Chanakira is set to bring internationally acclaimed motivational speaker and author Robert Kiyosaki to Harare for a one-day financial empowerment event.
Kiyosaki, best known for his best-selling personal finance book Rich Dad, Poor Dad, will headline the talk at Celebration Centre in Borrowdale on Saturday, 6 September 2025, under the theme “Making Money Make Sense.”
Announcing the news on his verified X account on Thursday, 14 August, Chanakira expressed excitement about hosting the American entrepreneur, investor, and educator. He revealed that Kiyosaki would be joined by leading Zimbabwean wealth management experts.
“I’m delighted to be hosting the world-renowned Robert Kiyosaki. He will be flanked by my globally respected professional colleagues in the wealth management arena. Get your tickets soonest to avoid disappointment,” Chanakira said.
The announcement has generated a buzz on social media, with some Zimbabweans celebrating the rare opportunity to hear from a world-class financial educator, while others criticised the ticket prices and questioned the value of motivational talks.
