DONZVO Entertainment will host the third edition of the Beitbridge Superstar talent show on October 10, 2026, at Lutumba.
The event follows as efforts to spread the message of saying no to drugs and substance abuse amongst youths.
Located about 20 kilometres from Beitbridge town, the event will feature the artists and dance competitions aimed at empowering young people to pursue their talents and build careers.
Running for the third time, the Beitbridge Superstar talent show has, since 2024, provided a platform for emerging talent.
Previous winners include King Narrow in 2023, Star Danger in 2024, Ngwere Yeku Bridge in 2025 meanwhile, 2026 a champion awaits to be Crowned.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, event coordinator Shimron Sibanda said the competition was open to everyone.
“Beitbridge Superstar is a talent show, and the criteria is very simple. We are open to everyone.”
“We are not limiting anyone. If you recognise your talent or feel like trying something new, this is a platform to register.”
“We don’t do auditions to judge or disqualify people, but to build talent and improve them to better heights,” he said.
Part of the line-up is Elder Thomas, King Washo and Ngwere Yeku Bridge to perform at the event.
Based from Harare, Marondera, Michael Munyika, popularly known as Apostle Captain Munyika, will headline the event.
He is known for songs including Zimbabwe Tikadanana and Hazvinei.
Captain Munyika praised Beitbridge youths for participating in initiatives aimed at discouraging drug and substance abuse.
“I am so happy that Beitbridge youth have taken a step to stand against drugs and substance abuse through participating in such events which groom talent and build a career they might earn a living from,” he said.
“As a performer and apostle, I feel honoured to meet the youths as I entertain them and encourage the stand against drugs and substance abuse.”
“Beitbridge, see you at the Superstar talent show and expect a fire performance on the day,” he said.
Musician Elder Thomas, who is also part of the line-up, said he was honoured to participate in the event.
“I feel honoured being part of the line-up and I am proud to join the stand against drugs as I will deliver an electric performance on the day,” he said.
The event will also feature a surprise resident DJ, adding to the entertainment line-up.
As the event approaches, youths are encouraged to register for the competitions and use the platform to showcase their talents while taking a stand against drugs and substance abuse.
