BEITBRIDGE is preparing for what could become the biggest fight night in the history of local kickboxing after TaeBo confirmed that the main event at TASKA(4) will serve as an official National Title Eliminator.

TaeBo Tournament Organising committee has announced in a notice.

The announcement has transformed an already highly anticipated clash between Beitbridge’s unbeaten warrior Starlin “Cruiser Mhani” Musiiwa and Harare challenger Predator into a career-defining battle with national championship consequences.

When the two fighters step into the ring at Machembere Hall on July 25, there will be far more than local bragging rights at stake.

The winner will secure a mandatory shot at Zimbabwe National Champion Isaac “Hitman” Mhlanga, the devastating knockout specialist who has become the most feared name in the promotion.

For Predator, the equation is simple — survive the hostile Beitbridge atmosphere, silence the hometown crowd and punch his ticket to a championship showdown.

Standing in his way is Musiiwa, the local favourite who carries a perfect 3-0 professional record and has quickly become one of the town’s sporting heroes.

The undefeated Cruiser Mhani will have the backing of an entire community as he seeks to defend his territory and keep his dream of national glory alive.

Waiting in the shadows is Mhlanga.

The champion has bulldozed his way through previous opponents, stopping both of his TASKA challengers with brutal knockout victories that cemented his reputation as Zimbabwe’s premier finisher.

Much of Mhlanga’s dominance has been credited to the guidance of celebrated martial arts coach Grandmaster Bernard Roben, affectionately known in combat circles as “The Jet.”

The title eliminator headlines an action-packed card featuring some of Beitbridge’s brightest rising stars against challengers from the capital.

In the Under-70kg division, hometown fighter Boyka faces Harare’s King Cobra in what promises to be a fast-paced encounter.

Another unbeaten Beitbridge prospect, Blessing Shamhu, takes his 3-0 record into battle against Sensei Conwell in the Under-65kg category.

The local charge continues in the Under-60kg division where Clever Mhlanga, also unbeaten at 3-0, squares off against Harare’s Sensei Rizzo.

Four supporting bouts are expected to ignite the crowd before the headline fights begin.

All contests will be fought under Low Kick Mode regulations aimed at ensuring fighter safety while maintaining the intensity and excitement that have become synonymous with the promotion.

Since its inception, TaeBo has steadily transformed Beitbridge into one of Zimbabwe’s emerging combat sports centres, attracting fighters from across the country and giving local athletes a platform to compete at the highest level.

With a title shot on the line, undefeated records under threat and hometown pride at stake, TASKA(4) promises to deliver an unforgettable night of combat when the first bell rings at 6pm on July 25.

The event is powered by headline sponsor Greenland Ministries, while official transport partner Blessitup Motors will provide logistical support.
