The Premier Soccer league has  summoned Kwekwe United for a  disciplinary hearing following  the club ‘s failure to fulfil its  scheduled fixture against Herentals FC on April 21, 2025.

Kwekwe United is set to appear for a disciplinary hearing at the PSL offices on May 5, 2025.

According to the PSL, Kwekwe United has been charged with breaching rules and regulations specifically order 31, which states that it is an act of misconduct if a club fails to  fulfil a fixture on a date and at  a venue  fixed by the PSL.

“ The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League has summoned Kwekwe United to appear before the PSL disciplinary committee following the club’s failure to fulfil its scheduled fixture against Herentals on Monday April 21,” the PSL statement reads.

In with the PSL rules and regulations, specifically order 31.2.17, Kwekwe United ‘s failure to honour the fixture tarnishes  the league ‘s image and  this behaviour is deemed a  misconduct.
