BEITBRIDGE Konka Pub continues its new chapter following its official relaunch last week, with Zimbabwean musician Raymer set to perform at the venue on Friday, July 31.
Born in Chitungwiza in October 2005, Robert Ncheposhi, popularly known as Raymer, has built a growing fan base through songs including Hauna Care, Kapoto and Unepamuromo.
Raymer was previously signed to NashTV Zimbabwe, where he shared the label with artists including Saintfloew, Nisha Ts and Ninety6.
“I am more ready than ever to perform in Beitbridge for the first time. It always feels great performing in a new town, and I look forward to seeing the crowd vibe to my music,” said Raymer.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, event coordinator, Teddy Malungisa said the positive response to last weekend’s Kae Chaps show inspired the venue to host another major event.
“The energy that fans showed at the Kae Chaps event was amazing. We thought, why not do it again this weekend?”
” As Konka Pub, it is our mission to take nightlife to another level from now on,” he said.
He also said, the inclusion of DJ Keitho would further enhance the night’s entertainment.
“The addition of DJ Keitho will improve the quality of the sound and music selection for the night,” he said.
The event will also feature rotational sets from DJ Teddy and DJ Vic Gee, while MC Kay One will keep the crowd entertained, completing a night expected to be filled with music and lively interaction between the artist and fans.
