BEITBRIDGE musicians Mark Geezo, Limpopo Pogba and Macriss will represent the town for the first time at the Summer Warm Up Show at Drunken Dark Night Club in Rutenga on August 8.

Mark Geezo will headline the event alongside fellow Beitbridge artists Limpopo Pogba and Macriss, showcasing local talent beyond their hometown.

Known for songs including Magunvosta and Zi Calendar, Mark Geezo, whose real name is Regis Mandangu, is an Afro-dancehall artist with a growing social media presence, boasting more than 42,000 Facebook followers.

“The journey continues for me since taking down Skeembeit a few months ago. This time we are heading northwards with my brothers to represent Beitbridge in different townships,” he said

He also said Consistency is the key hence we promise to keep on dominating, and unity is a must as musicians.

Speaking to Ziyah News Network, Tinetariro Ngwenya popularly known as Limpopo Pogba said working with fellow artists from Beitbridge had always been inspiring.

“I have always found it amazing working with my colleagues from the same township.”

“This time going to a different town feels like a mission we should accomplish by representing our grassroots and the massive talent from Beitbridge,” he said

Limpopo Pogba rose to prominence after his trending battle with Superman Vybz, popularly known as “Pfira Dendy”, during the 2024 Chipaz Promotion Cup clash, earning widespread recognition on social media.

Born on August 6, 1997, Philip Macriss has collaborated with artists including Blot and Tenny Kelly.
