The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) has announced with great sadness the passing of Mr. Fungayi Marufu, the Public Prosecutor in charge of NPAZ Murewa.
Mr. Marufu succumbed to a short illness on February 14, 2025. Mourners currently gathered at 1192 Southgate Park, Murewa. The burial is scheduled for today, February 18, at Glen Forest.
Prosecutor General Hon. Loyce Matanda-Moyo, NPAZ Board, and staff have extended their heartfelt condolences to Mr. Marufu’s wife, children, and the entire Marufu family during this difficult time.
“The NPAZ community stands in solidarity with them as they honor a life devoted to justice, service, and progress” , said the organisation in a statement.
