Palesa Madisakwane, the ex-girlfriend of media personality Somizi Mhlongo, has revealed that Somizi was absent from his daughter Bahumi’s life.

During her appearance on Owamie’s “To Hell and Back” podcast, Madisakwane shared that she raised their child without his assistance.

She explained that Somizi was not present during key moments, including her hospital stay when their baby was born.

“Somizi was not there at all, but his late sister, Joyce, supported me,” Madisakwane said.

According to Madisakwane, Somizi initially denied paternity.

“In my mind I was looking for Somizi, but he was nowhere; he was playing duck and dive. In fact, he was even denying that the baby was his,” she recounted.

She further described the financial struggles she faced.

“When I went to the hospital, he wasn’t there; I didn’t even have clothes for the baby. He’s never apologised, and he’s never explained his actions. My daughter has just turned 30, and I’ve never received an apology.”

Madisakwane suggested that his absence, despite his wealth, was a  factor in their strained relationship.

She highlighted that his relationship with his daughter  improved after the show “Living the Dream with Somizi.”

“He didn’t even have a relationship with her. Their relationship only improved after the show, Living the Dream with Somizi,” she explained.

Could it be that his gay personality has made him forget that he is a dad and not fulfill his role in the life of his now 30-year-old daughter?
