A 27-year-old man, Arnold Ncube, from Tshatsilikiti Village, Lutumba, Chief Staudze, in Beitbridge, has been sentenced to 4 months in prison for stealing three donkeys valued at US$300, belonging to 67-year-old Dowelani Mulaudzi in Masumpa Village, Chief Masioka, in April of 2025.

According to the reports, Ncube unlawfully took the donkeys and sold them in Plumtree. The animals were valued at US$300. He was apprehended by CID Beitbridge after he tried to sell one of the donkeys with a brand mark in Chapfuche Village.

The Court activated a previous 6 month sentence which had been suspended for a prior conviction in a similar offence. He will serve an effective 10 months sentence in total.

NPAZ has urged  community members to report all suspicious activities.
