The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has issued a warning to the teachers regarding fraudulent companies such as MCG and GARDI which impersonate the ministry to conduct workshops with teachers.
The ministry took its social media to emphasise that they do not recognize these companies or advertised Heritage Based Curriculum workshops urging teachers to tread carefully.
“Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has observed an advert circulating about a workshop on the Heritage Based Curriculum by MCG and GARDI.Please note that the Ministry does not recognize these companies or the advertised HBC workshop…,” the Ministry stated.
The Ministry also urged the public that it has not given a mandate to any company to conduct the Heritage Based Curriculum training.
In 2024, several ministries such as Ministry of Public Services, Labour and Social Welfare once issued warnings to the public regarding fraudulent recruitment advertisements by individuals impersonating Ministry officials.
