TS Galaxy defeated defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns by one nil in a surprising result of South Africa’s top flight soccer league.
TS Galaxy who are well known for their determination and resilience, delivered a masterclass performance to end the unbeaten Sundowns show.
Sundowns come into this match on a 10 match winning streak and just after pummeling Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.
Kamogelo Sebelebele found the back of the net giving late in the first half in what turned out to be the only goal of the match giving Galaxy a deserved win against the champions.
Sebelebele won the man of the match award for his outstanding performance
TS Galaxy took to their social media to highlight and appreciate their team ‘s effort.
“Well earned 1-0 victory, and congratulations to Sebelebele for winning the man of the match,” TS Galaxy stated.
After defeating Sundowns, TS Galaxy moved to position 4 with 25 points while Sundowns remain on top of the table with 42 points.
