Beitbridge – Ambitious Beitbridge based Matebeleland South D2 debutants, Vhembe Stars Academy have unveiled a new luxurious team bus, courtesy of their sponsor, Let’s Trade Africa from South Africa.

The  53 seater spanking new bus comes with reclining leather seats, high speed, personalized seats, and air conditioning.

Speaking to Ziyah Network News, club president Loadwell Ziyadumah said, “ The bus has arrived at a time were we wanted it most. We are no longer hiring. We used to hire 2 or 3 kombis to cater for our under 15, 17 and 19, but now we can accommodate 3 teams in the bus.

“I think this bus is an important feature in the culture of football and it gives us a good strong brand. It makes us feel good so our new bus is a  symbol of our commitment to excellence”.

The Vhembe Stars Academy ‘s bus has  arrived two days before their departure to Manama for their away match against host Manama. This is a shot in the arm for the Academy and it’s aspirations in their division two league ambitions.

The team currently sits on position 6 with 9 points, level Habane Pirates, who are ahead by superior goal after 6 matches and expectations are high that the arrival of the team bus will spur the boys to greater heights and help them accelerate the winning momentum gathered in recent weeks after a sluggish start to the season. Their opponent Manama  is on the second position with 12 points, 1 point behind first placed Jessie Mine.
