Zezani High school has been crowned the 2025 NASH U17 soccer champions after a thrilling  5-4  penalty shootout victory over Gutu High in Chinhoyi, ensuring the championship comes to Beitbridge, Matebeleland South, for the first time.

Following a 0-0 stalemate in regular time, Zezani High school held their nerve to  break  set a record of being crowned U17 national champions for the first time.

Zezani high school has shown countless times that the bigger the stage or opposition th more determined they becoming capturing more fancied opposition enroute to their history making triumph.

 After the winning the championship, the headmaster of the school, Kgotso Sebata said,“ The boys played very well. We appreciate the works of our coaches, the boys dedication and support from our all weather friends Ziyah  Media.  We started building  this dream 2 years back. In 2023 we lost in the group stage at provincial level, 2024 we reached semi final in the provincial competitions and boom here we are in 2025 national champions”.

Their coach, George Mageleza also highlighted that the boys has displayed a stand out performance to be remembered for long a time.

“Yes, we are priviledged to be the champions of nation, the boys have been determined and pushing for perfection in each and every fixture, every level, district, provincial and until  today at the nationals,” Mageleza stated.

Zezani high school U17 becomes the first generation of their school and Beitbridge district be U17 national champions.
