The Matebeleland South provincial champions, Zezani High school are into the final of NASH U17 national soccer championship today against the Masvingo representatives, Gutu High.

The pride of Mat South  defeated fancied Prince Edward in a penalty shootout after 1-1 draw in regular time to secure their first national final in the school’s history. Meanwhile Gutu High defeated Guinea fowl in a penalty shootout again  after another 1-1 stalemate to secure a final spot against Zezani.

The two protagonist  will lock horns in the final for the first time as they both look to secure a championship victory.

The Beitbridge district community  and the Zezani High School are rallying behind coach Mageleza and the team to bring the championship back to the Rainbow province.

“Let’s rally behind the our boys as they continue their remarkable journey. All the best team,” Zezani high school stated.

Zezani high school goes into the national final with a record of 9 victories and 1 loss in their 10 games played so far on their way to this final from the district level until this stage.
