The Zimbabwe Football Association has donated game balls to eleven Beitbridge schools as the Association moves in to support grassroots soccer development.

The donation was made at Dulibadzimu primary school yesterday.


ZIFA donated the game balls to Dulibadzimu primary, Glag Secondary, Siyoka Secondary, Malikuwa secondary, Zhopemba primary, Mapani primary, Madzivhe primary, Toporo primary, Chabeta primary, Mandate primary and Swereki primary school.


The donations to primary and secondary schools is part of ZIFA’s strategies to empower and develop junior football level in the Matebeleland South region.


Meanwhile, ZIFA is also set to donate game balls to the Insiza district and Umzingwane today before donating to Mangwe and Bulilima districts, and their final destination will be Matopo district on January 17, 2025.


ZIFA ‘s donations to the primary and secondary schools comes into the picture just months after organizations like Ziyah Media have already started supporting junior football development in the region sponsoring kits and game balls to schools including Vhembe, St Mary’s, and Swereki secondary school and Chibi from Masvingo

Sikwari Makapata also have been in the picture of junior football development sponsoring kits to Zezani high and Kwalu secondary school in the Western part of Beitbridge.
